Privacy Policy
Auto Marketing Engine · automarketingengine.com and the publishing service at postiz.wholetech.com · Effective 25 July 2026
This policy describes what information the Auto Marketing Engine service ("the service", "we") collects, how it is used, and how you can have it deleted. We run a publishing service: with your permission, it posts content you approve to social media accounts you connect. We aim to collect the minimum needed to do that job.
What we collect
- Account information you give us: name, email address, business name, and website when you sign up or submit a setup request.
- Social account authorizations: when you connect a social account (for example a Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, LinkedIn page, or X account), the platform gives us an access token authorizing the specific permissions you approved. We store that token securely so the service can publish on your behalf. We never see or store your social media passwords.
- Content and activity: the posts prepared for you, your approvals/edits/skips, publication logs, and engagement statistics the platforms report (such as likes, reach, and clicks).
- Basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To publish the content you approve, to the accounts you connected, on the schedule you chose.
- To report results back to you (digests and reports).
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data — ever, to anyone.
- We do not post anything without your approval while approval is enabled on your account (it is enabled by default).
- We do not use your data to advertise to you or to others.
- We do not read or collect your social accounts' private messages.
Where it lives
The service is self-hosted on servers we control, with transport encryption (HTTPS) throughout, access limited to service operators, and nightly backups. Platform data received through APIs (for example Meta or LinkedIn data) is used only to provide the service to you, consistent with each platform's terms, and is never transferred to third parties except as required to operate the service or by law.
Data deletion — how to remove your data
You can have everything deleted at any time:
- Disconnect a channel: ask us (or use your dashboard, where available) to disconnect any social account — its access token is deleted immediately.
- Full deletion: email walhus@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request" from the email on your account. Within 30 days we delete your account record, all stored access tokens, prepared content, and logs associated with you, and confirm by reply. Platform-side data (your actual social posts) remains on the platforms under your ownership — deleting our copy never touches your accounts.
- Meta users: this section is our data-deletion instructions page. Disconnecting the app in your Facebook settings (Settings → Apps and Websites) also invalidates our access immediately.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is active and delete it on request as above. Publication logs are kept up to 24 months for reporting, then deleted.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Questions or requests: walhus@gmail.com.
